WILMINGTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – One person was taken to the hospital via medical helicopter following a one car crash near the intersection of Lake Street and Grove Street in Wilmington Tuesday morning.
According to police, two cars were traveling together when one of the cars crashed into a telephone pole, ejecting the driver. The driver was taken to Mass. General Hospital via medical helicopter with head trauma.
The passenger of the car was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
Police arrested the driver of the other car that was not involved in the crash.
Police said speed was a factor, but they are still investigating whether or not alcohol played a factor in the crash.
No official charges have been released.
