MANSFIELD (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) — A driver was seriously injured Monday when his car hit a freight train in Mansfield. The driver told police he was distracted by his cell phone just before the crash.
SKYFOX was over the scene at a railroad crossing Forbes Boulevard at about noon.
The driver of the Toyota Venza was flown to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.
An investigation is ongoing.
