Driver flown to Boston hospital after medical issue, crash

CARVER, Mass. — A 36-year-old Plymouth resident is recovering in a Boston hospital after having a medical issue while driving and crashing.

Police say the crash happened just before 4 p.m. on Tremont Street in Carver.

The vehicle struck a utility pole and the driver had to be rescued by emergency responders.

The driver was the only person in the vehicle. He was taken to Tobey Hospital then flown to a Boston hospital.
