• Driver crashes into Taunton plaza, third person in 4 months to do so


    TAUNTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A 66-year-old Taunton woman crashed her car into a wall at the Tremont Street plaza Monday morning, making her the third person to do so in four months.

    According to the Taunton Daily Gazette, the woman's car jumped the curb in the parking lot at 3 Tremont St. and struck a wall between Walgreen's Pharmacy and Laurie's Country Kitchen at about 11:30 a.m. She was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.

    A car crash through the front façade of Laurie's Country Kitchen on Feb. 20, and one month later, another driver crashed into another business a few storefronts down in the same shopping plaza, the newspaper reports.

    No injuries were reported in the previous incidents.
