BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Hundreds of Brandeis University students and faculty members are being tested for tuberculosis after a student was diagnosed with the illness this week.
School officials e-mailed the student body on Thursday afternoon about the sick student. That student has been isolated for treatment.
Officials tell FOX 25 that they received the test results on Friday from the individual who had the most exposure to the student. Those results were negative.
A total of 250 students and faculty were told to get tested for the contagious illness. By Saturday, 70 students had visited the school's health center for testing.
