Dozens impacted by fire in Wilmington

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) The American Red Cross is assisting over a dozen people displaced by a 4-alarm fire in Wilmington on Friday night.

Reports of the fire began coming in at about 4 p.m. The fire began at a 4-story building at 4121 Avalon Drive.

Over 35 people lived in the building. The Red Cross says they are assisting 18 people from 10 different apartments. They helped those impacted find temporary shelter for the night.

There is no word on any injuries at this time.
