Dog shot during home invasion in Brockton's south side

BROCKTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A dog was shot during an armed home invasion in Brockton on Tuesday night.

The Enterprise reports that police are searching for at least two male suspects after the home invasion on Glendale Avenue. The suspects were reportedly wearing black masks and hooded sweatshirts during the invasion.

One shot was fired during the incident. The homeowner's dog was hit by the bullet. The dog was taken to West Bridgewater Animal Hospital for treatment.

None of the residents of the home were injured in the home invasion.
