Dog found abandoned at state park in Sutton

SUTTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – An American Bulldog mix is warming up after she was abandoned at a state park.

The dog was found at the Purgatory Chasm State Reservation in Sutton Sunday night, but the Animal Rescue League believes she had been there since Thursday. They say this type of dog has a very short coat and can't brave cold weather.
    
She was treated for frost bite, but will be up for adoption in no time.

The dog had a chip, but it had never been activated.
