Doctors conclude Heinz Kerry suffered a seizure, condition upgraded to 'good'

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The condition of Secretary of State John Kerry's wife has been upgraded from "fair" to "good" after suffering a seizure Sunday.

Teresa Heinz Kerry was moved Thursday from Massachusetts General Hospital to Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital to continue her recovery.

A spokesperson for Kerry says doctors have concluded she suffered a seizure, but they are still trying to determine its cause.

Former U.S. Sen. Kerry and his wife also shared their appreciation for the Nantucket Fire Dept. and its ambulance services, as well as the Nantucket Cottage Hospital for their assistance shortly after Heinz Kerry's seizure.

The secretary plans to split his time between Boston and Washington D.C. as his wife recovers.
