PEABODY, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Detectives executing a search warrant at a Peabody residence seized 165 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, as well as other drug paraphernalia.
As a result of a domestic disturbance investigation, detectives executed a search warrant at 9 Ayer Street and found a substantial marijuana operation inside the home. Bedrooms had been converted into sophisticated environments to cultivate marijuana, police said.
During the search, detectives seized approximately 165 plants, fertilizers, special lighting fixtures, and an intricate irrigation system.
No one has been charged in connection with the drug operation, and an investigation is ongoing.
David Antonuccio, 35, was arrested in connection with the domestic incident and charged with domestic assault and battery, assault with a dangerous weapon, and malicious destruction of property.
