• Deer freed after getting stuck in oil change netting


    NORWOOD, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Police in Norwood responded to the Valvoline on Everett Street in Norwood Tuesday morning after a deer became trapped in some oil change netting.

    Police responded to the Valvoline located at 175 Everett St. at about 8 a.m.

    When officers arrived, they found the deer struggling to get loose. After addressing the situation, an animal control officer was called and was able to free the deer.

    A Valvoline employee told FOX 25 the deer came bounding into the business with force before getting stuck.

    The deer was unharmed and pointed in the right direction towards its home.
