Death of Bedford, N.H. doctor’s wife shrouded in mystery

BEDFORD, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Neighbors of a Bedford, New Hampshire doctor and his deceased wife are still looking for answers as to what happened to the couple.

Police found Sonia Quesada dead inside her mother-in-law's Bedford home in early January. Sonia's husband, Dr. Eduardo Quesada, a prominent anesthesiologist was discovered unconscious.

Police still maintain that the incident is not connected to the home invasion that occurred at the couple's Bedford home in November.

It's enough to make neighbors question what's really going on.

"We don't know what went on really. We haven't been told enough," said Beverly Snyder, of Bedford. "Either they don't know or they're just not willing to share it with us yet."

"I'm concerned as well," said Ken McKenna, of Bedford. "It is kind of scary to think if something like that happened in your own backyard."

Fox 25 has learned that the Quesada's home was sold for $1.3 million about two days after Sonia Quesada's body was found.

"For this town it's been bizarre. Very strange," said Aaron Brown, of Bedford. "I've heard many different opinions and who knows what to believe."

Police said that after an autopsy, there is no evidence that Sonia Quesada was murdered. Her death has been ruled suspicious, however.

Eduardo Quesada's current condition and whereabouts were also not known. Fox 25's Crystal Haynes said Catholic Medical Center in Manchester does not have him listed as a patient. He hasn't been back to his practice since the incident.
