Death in Boston hazmat deemed non-suspicious

Emergency crews responded to an East Boston neighborhood on Monday for a hazmat situation.

The incident occurred just before 11 a.m. on Horace Street.

FOX 25 crews on the scene said residents in the neighborhood were evacuated, but were allowed back into their homes a short while later.

One person was found dead inside a Horace Street home. Officials are calling the death non-suspicious. They say helium tanks inside of the home caused concern and were the reason for the hazmat.
