BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – The Boston Globe is about to be one step closer to having new owners.
Thursday is the deadline for final bids to be submitted to the newspaper's parent company, The New York Times.
One person who will not own the newspaper is Patriots owner Robert Kraft. His group officially withdrew their interest in buying the Globe, Boston.com, and the newspaper's other assets last week.
The price tag for the Globe and its assets is predicted to be between $75 and $150 million.
The New York Times bought the newspaper in 1993 for $1.1 billion from the Taylor family.
