DANVILLE, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) – The police chief in Danville, N.H., is set to plead not guilty to improperly storing his firearm.
On March 11, the teenage son of Chief Wayne Parsons' girlfriend shot himself inside the chief's home. The gun 15-year-old Jacob Carver used was reportedly left on top of a safe, instead of locked up inside.
Parsons' attorney told the Union Leader that he will enter a not guilty plea at his June 17 arraignment.
The chief is facing a $1,000 fine if found guilty.
