BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Lowell man is accused of kicking a woman in her throat because she did not want to drink at a bar after the St. Patrick's Day parade, Suffolk County District Attorney Daniel F. Conley's office said.
Patrick Kelly, 25, is set to be arraigned Monday in Boston Municipal Court.
Kelly allegedly kicked the victim Sunday afternoon near the fare gates at Downtown Crossing station.
Prosecutors said he was angry at the woman, whom he knew, because she didn't share his desire to go drink following the parade.
