CVMA backing vet allegedly thrown out of diner for service dog

(MyFoxBoston.com) – A national veterans group is putting its weight behind a disabled veteran who was kicked out of an Oxford diner because of his service dog.

The local chapter of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association is looking for other veterans with service dogs to help them rally outside Big I's.

James Glaser says the owner yelled profanities at him about his service dog, Jack. Glaser suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Jack helps him stay calm. Even with the appropriate paperwork, the owner still denied the pair access.

Tuesday morning, the Facebook page "Boycott Big I's in Oxford Ma." had thousands of comments from vets all over the country and more than 18,000 likes.

The CVMA plans to hold the rally on Saturday.
