Webster Police: driver was four times over legal blood alcohol limit

WEBSTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) A 53-year-old man was arrested and charged with driving under the influence in a liquor store parking lot on Wednesday night.

Webster Police say they received a report at 7 p.m. about a car without its lights on driving erratically on Thompson Road. The caller told police the driver pulled into the parking lot of Nipmuc Liquors and was slumped over the steering wheel.

Police arrived to the scene and claim the operator, identified as David Cahill, was almost four times over the legal limit. Cahill was arrested and held at the Webster Police Department on $40 bail.
