Case Details:

Pereyra was released on $7,500 cash bail in Dec. 2012. He surrendered his passport and was placed on GPS monitoring.

In March 2013, Pereyra was indicted on 15 counts of aggravated rape of a child, indecent assault and battery on a child, and statutory rape of a child. Two days after being informed of his indictment, Pereyra removed his GPS bracelet.

Pereyra was last living at 20 Egleston Street in Jamaica Plain. He is originally from the Dominican Republic and has family there. He also has a daughter living near Columbus, Ohio who investigators believe may be helping him flee toward that area.

Pereyra currently has two warrants, one out of Dedham District Court and one from Norfolk Superior Court. They have full rendition/extradition in the U.S.

Cambridge bank robbery
April 15, 2013

Case Details:

On Monday April 15, an unknown black male entered the Sovereign bank at 515 Mass Ave in Cambridge just before 9:30 a.m. He passed the teller a note demanding money and threatening that he had a firearm. The suspect was given an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the bank on foot.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 30s, about 5'5" tall, with a medium build. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a black knit cap, white glasses, white hooded sweatshirt, black sweatpants, and white sneakers.

Lexington farm stand theft
April 28, 2013

Case Details:

Police say a man removed a wallet from an elderly woman's purse after he began a conversation with her while she was shopping at Wilson's Farm Stand. Her credit cards were used at the Target store in Woburn.

Cambridge convenience store robbery
April 18, 2013

Case Details:

Police are looking to identify a man who entered a convenience store in Cambridge and asked the clerk for change before brandishing a handgun and demanding the clerk hand over money from the register.
