Mass. Most Wanted: Jan. 18

Alert FOX 25 viewers are making a big difference for law enforcement. Just last week a case we featured on Mass. Most Wanted was resolved, and police say it was thanks to one of our viewers.

Brighton bank robbery

The Bank Robbery Task Force is trying to catch the man who robbed a Brighton bank. A man, wearing a black wig, robbed the Citizens Bank in Cleveland Circle in Brighton on Jan. 9. He passed a note to a teller demanding cash. And sources told FOX 25 that he may be responsible for another bank robbery.

The suspect is in his early to mid 40s, he's about 5'7", he was wearing a long tan trench coat, sunglasses, and of course, the black wig.

There is a cash reward, make sure you mention the Mass. Most Wanted tip program when you call.

Foxboro Stop and Shop Bad Bills

In Foxboro, police want to stop two men using bleached five dollar bills. Police say, on Dec. 13, they both passed bleached five dollar bills that were reprinted to look like 100 dollar bills.

They used the cash register, and left at the same time.

Somerville Counterfeit Money

In Somerville, police say two women are wanted for passing counterfeit money at three stores. This happened on Jan. 6, police say they passed fake 20s and 50s at Target, Dollar Tree, and Dots in Somerville.

Back Bay Purse Snatching

In Boston, a woman is wanted for a purse snatching at the Nordstrom store in the Back Bay on Jan. 5. The victim not only lost her Michael Kors handbag, she also lost the $150 cash she had inside.
