Crews respond to fire at Coast Guard station

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A fire broke out Tuesday morning at the Coast Guard station in Boston.

Firefighters responded to Commercial Street for a fire at a three-story warehouse type building. According to the Boston Fire Department's Twitter feed, welders were working on the roof of the warehouse when an inadvertent spark caused some combustibles to catch fire.

Crews were able to quickly knock down the flames.

No injuries were reported.

Damage is estimated at $1 million.
