CANTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Emergency crews responded to a level 2 hazmat situation at a water treatment plant in Canton on Tuesday.
Officials at the scene tell FOX 25 ammonia was dropped at the water treatment plant on Pecunit Street. They began venting the building shortly after arriving to the scene.
No one was injured in the incident. The ammonia spill did not impact the water treatment.
