Cops: Hotel guest arrested for misplaced Oxycodone stash

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A 26-year-old Nevada woman was arrested on Friday after housekeeping at the Hyatt Regency Hotel found more than 200 grams of Oxycodone pills stuffed inside two latex gloves.

Ana Prado, of Henderson, Nev., is charged with trafficking in a Class B substance.  She appeared in East Boston District Court Monday morning, and a judge set bail at $20,000. She is scheduled to return to court on Oct. 12.

State police from the barracks at Logan Airport were called to the Hyatt on Friday after housekeeping discovered the pills in a room after a guest had checked out. Troopers noted the name of the previous guest and instructed hotel staff to contact police if someone returns for the pills.

Prado returned to the hotel several hours later and requested to get back into the room because she left her medications behind.

Staff called state police who took Prado into custody.
