Cool temps for game 1 of ALCS

FROM FOX 25 CHIEF METEOROLOGIST KEVIN LEMANOWICZ

High pressure has won the battle for New England's weekend weather. We saw it Friday with the sun busting out while that ocean storm busted apart. A piece of it went out to sea. The other part is spinning inland and starting to fall apart. Clearing working through New England overnight will lead to some sun to start Saturday. The onshore flow around that high will increase during the day. That will push some wet ocean air into the region. Clouds will increase once again and there could be some drizzle forming. That would be the worst of it, but it would also likely make game 1 of the ALCS at Fenway a little damp and cool.

The high pressure pushes farther south Sunday. Clouds will move out and the sun will take over. The Patriots game will be nice Sunday afternoon and the Red Sox game will be cool but dry.

It is also a holiday weekend! Monday actually looks very nice with sunshine. The next chance for showers arrives Tuesday- safely after the long weekend.
