Controversial study questions effectiveness of screening mammograms

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A controversial new study is questioning the effectiveness of screening mammograms, suggesting that more than one million woman have been overtreated for breast cancer.

Study co-author Dr. Gilbert Welch, a professor of medicine at the Dartmouth Institute of Health Policy and Clinical Practice in Hanover, N.H., recently joined the FOX 25 Morning News via Skype.
