Commuter rail riders allowed back on train following evacuation in Framingham

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – Commuter Rail riders were allowed back on the train after it was evacuated Wednesday morning.

Police searched a train in Framingham after receiving a report from customers who overheard some comments from a man at Southboro Station, according to the MBTA.

A number of FOX 25 viewers reported that passengers were taken off the train as police conducted the search. It was not immediately known what police were searching for.

Passengers later emailed FOX 25 reporting that they were being allowed back on the train one-by-one.
