College hosts panel on gun violence

BOSTON (AP) - Emerson College is hosting a panel that will explore whether video games and media have an impact on gun violence in the United States.

The event will be held Monday evening at Emerson's Semel Theater in Boston and is free to the public.

Scheduled to sit on the panel are: a Parents Television Council official; the Media Coalition's executive director; a child and adolescent psychiatrist; and a former professor who wrote a book about raising confident, creative children.

WGBH radio host Callie Crossley will moderate the discussion.
