From FOX 25 meteorologist Sarah Wroblewski
Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow Saturday morning, therefore calling for an early Spring??? Hmmm… Doesn't he know it's cold here and we have some light snow on the way?
A few flurries may be possible early on Sunday, but then a few breaks of sun will develop midday. Temps will climb into the upper 20s to mid 30s. Clouds may hang tough for southeastern areas through the majority of the day. In fact, light snow or flurries will redevelop Sunday afternoon and evening as this storm (well to our south) intensifies and pulls away towards the Canadian Maritimes. This may add to some light snowfall totals across the southeast, Cape and Islands. Total snowfall accumulations from Saturday night through late Sunday will be up to a couple of inches for the Cape and Islands, south coast and parts of the southeast, to less than inch elsewhere.
Not a big storm… but may allow for a few slippery roadways overnight today and again later in the day Sunday.
