LANCASTER, Penn. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Two children taken from a home in Pennsylvania were found safe Friday and two suspects were taken into custody.
Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane tweeted the children were recovered just before 8:30 a.m.
WTXF in Philadelphia reported a car matching the description of the one driven by the suspects was stopped by police on a highway in Pennsylvania Friday morning. Video from their helicopter showed a man taken away in handcuffs.
Police confirmed to FOX 43 in central Pennsylvania the car was recovered in Philadelphia.
The children, identified as 3-year-old Erielys Ahorrio and her brother John, were abducted from a home in Lancaster, Penn. at gunpoint.
The two suspects were identified as 23-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Jr. and 47-year-old Eddie Ahorrio Sr. Investigators originally believed they could have been traveling to Massachusetts, but they did not explain their connection to the state.
