BROCKTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) An 11-year-old was shot in the chest with a BB gun while at a Brockton playground on Sunday.
The Enterprise reports that the boy was hit while at the James Edgar Playground at about 6 p.m.
The boy's mother noticed he was scratching his chest and there was blood on his shirt at about 10 p.m.
The child was transported to Good Samaritan for treatment and later taken to Mass. General Hospital where his condition was listed as stable.
Brockton Police are investigating the incident.
