Child reportedly injured during landlord, contractor dispute

EVERETT, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) – A child was reportedly assaulted during an argument between an Everett landlord and one of his contractors inside a Waverly Street home.

Police responded to 102 Waverly Street around 4 p.m. on Monday.

According to police, the child, who was struck in the head with a tape measure, was taken to Mass General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Police arrested the contractor, but have not yet released his name. He is scheduled to appear in Malden District Court on Tuesday.
