CHAMPS AGAIN: Patriots rally late to win Super Bowl LI

HOUSTON — The New England Patriots overcame the largest deficit that's ever been overcome at a Super Bowl to beat the Atlanta Falcons in overtime Sunday night.

Many had counted them out late in the came when a few costly turnovers by the Falcons earned the Patriots opportunities to march down the field and scrape back into the game.

With just under a minute left, the Patriots tied the game at 28, forcing overtime for the first time in the history of the Super Bowl.

After winning the toss, the Patriots elected to receive, sidelining the NFL regular season MVP Matt Ryan.

It was only a matter of minutes before James White punched into the end zone to cap the comeback.

The championship parade is scheduled for Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. in Boston.
