Celtics G Rondo on fight: I'm not a dirty player

WALTHAM (AP) - Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo spoke to the NBA on Thursday as the league investigates whether his role in a scuffle against the Brooklyn Nets will warrant a suspension.

Rondo told reporters after practice on Thursday: "I'm not a dirty player."

Rondo was ejected from the loss to Brooklyn after retaliating for a hard foul against Kevin Garnett with a two-handed shove on Nets forward Kris Humphries. A skirmish followed, and Rondo was kicked out of the game, along with Humphries and Brooklyn forward Gerald Wallace.

Rondo was suspended twice last season for losing his temper against the referees.

Coach Doc Rivers says he wants his players to show their toughness in more productive ways, like scoring and rebounding.
