Carjacking victim describes drive with marathon bombers

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- The 26-year-old carjacking victim of the Boston Marathon bombers opened up about the terrifying experience to the Boston Globe.

The man, being described as a Chinese entrepreneur named "Danny," told the paper he thought he would die. He says bomber #1, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, told him he was responsible for the marathon attacks and that he also killed a police officer in Cambridge. The elder Tsarnaev then took control of Danny's Mercedes SUV.

The hijacking victim says he ended up in an East Watertown neighborhood, where they met up with 19-year-old Dzhokhar Tsarnaev.

Danny says the Tsarnaev brothers talked of iPhones, girls, and whether people listened to compact discs anymore during the harrowing drive that took him through Brighton, Watertown, and back to Cambridge.

Danny tells the newspaper he escaped after Dzhokhar went into a Shell Station on Memorial Drive to pay.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev was later killed during a shootout with police in East Watertown. Dzhokhar was found on April 19 hiding in a boat in a Franklin Street back yard.
