QUINCY, Mass. — An accident involving multiple cars on I-93 between Quincy and Dochester has prompted all northbound lanes to be shut down.
According to MassDOT, the accident happened at around 12:15 p.m. just before Savin Hill Ave., where traffic was diverted off at exit 14 by Morrisey Boulevard. All lanes were closed off at around 12:30 p.m.

In a video recorded by a witness, a car can be seen catching on fire.
At around 1:00 p.m., two right lanes on 93 northbound were re-opened, while the left lane on 93 southbound remained closed off.
