(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Billerica woman says her windshield was shattered by a piece of falling concrete and she wants the state to pay for it.
Jasmine Connolly says she was riding on Route 95 with her husband and two young children sunday when concrete from a bridge near Exit 9 in Sharon came crashing down on her car. She says the collision left everyone covered in glass, but no one was hurt.
While the impact was startling, Connolly says she was just as shocked by the response she has received from state troopers. Connolly says without bodily harm, the state won't pay for the damage done to her car.
The state has yet to comment on these claims. Connolly says she simply wants the Commonwealth to pay for her deductible and to fix the bridge.
