Car crashes into VA Hospital

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A building inspector was called to the Veterans Affairs Hospital in West Roxbury Friday after a car drove through a wall in the building.

Boston fire responded to the scene at 1400 VFW Parkway just before 12:30 p.m.

The driver, identified by emergency crews as an elderly male, was brought into the hospital to be evaluated.

Fire crews pulled back from the scene due to the uncertainty of structural damage. They later said it did not appear there was any serious damage to the hospital, however a city building inspector was called to the scene to investigate.
