• Car crashes into Saugus gas station


    SAUGUS, Mass. - A car slammed into a gas station in Saugus Tuesday night and nearly caused an explosion.

    A car crashed into the side of the All Town gas station on Route 1 just after 11 p.m.

    The car was traveling so fast that it crashed through cement barriers designed to stop vehicles, and then crashed into a cage full of propane tanks.

    Luckily no injuries were reported.

    The driver remained at the scene.

    It’s unclear why the driver lost control and crashed.
