Candia man arrested for DUI after driving car into brook in Hooksett

HOOKSETT, N.H. — A Candia man was arrested after driving his car off a dirt road bridge into a brook.

Hooksett Police responded to a call of a single-car crash on Chester Turnpike in Hooksett, and made contact with 20-year-old Edward Miville .

Miville was driving on the turnpike when he lost control of his car for an unknown reason, drove off the road into a rock wall before rolling into a brook.

Officers found that Miville was under the influence of alcohol when they were questioning him after the accident. They arrested Miville, and brought him to the Hooksett Police Department.

Miville suffered minor injuries in the crash, and refused both medical treatment and a breathalyzer test.

He was released on $1,500 bail, and will appear in court May 10.
