Cambridge police search for suspect in 2 indecent assault cases

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Cambridge police are asking for the public's help in finding a suspect wanted for two indecent assaults.

The first incident took place June 14 at about 11 p.m. on Harvard Street. A woman said she was walking near the intersection of Inman Street when two men on bicycles approached and one indecently grabbed her from behind. Both men fled toward Harvard Square.

In the first case, the suspect is described as being between 18 and 25 years old with dark, curly hair. At the time, he was wearing a light colored t-shirt and dark shorts.

A second incident happened just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday in the area of Cambridge Street and Ellsworth Avenue. The suspect in this case was also riding a bicycle and grabbed the victim from behind. A bike that was left at the scene was taken into custody as evidence.

The suspect in the second case was described as a dark skinned male, between 18 and 25 years old. He was wearing a bright red t-shirt, dark shorts, and a black backpack at the time of the incident.
