Cambridge police investigate apparent homicide of 73-year-old man

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Cambridge police are investigating the apparent homicide of a 73-year-old man found on Broadway Street Monday night.

The Middlesex District Attorney's office says Cambridge police responded to 243 Broadway at about 11:50 p.m. to find the man suffering from severe injuries. He was later pronounced dead.

Details about the man's injuries were not released Tuesday.

Mass. State Police troopers assigned to the Middlesex District Attorney's office are assisting Cambridge police in the investigation.
