MANCHESTER, N.H. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Police in Manchester, N.H. are investigating an unusual burglary that took place while a teenager was home alone Monday.
Investigators were called to the scene at Grand Avenue just after 1:30 p.m. on reports of a burglary in progress.
A 17-year-old girl living at the home met police and told them she was inside at the time of the burglary. She said she heard a noise at the door and assumed it was her mother arriving home. An unknown man then walked into her bedroom and asked her, "Where's Brian?" He fled from the home through the front door where he was met by a white minivan with black trim.
After the man left, the teen noticed an iPad was missing from the living room.
The suspect is described as a white man, between 5'7" and 5'8" tall, with a medium build, and blonde or reddish hair. He was wearing a purple shirt at the time of the burglary.
