Bruce Springsteen has released a new song and it takes aim at President Donald Trump.
CNN reported that Springsteen collaborated with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Joe Grushecky on “That’s What Makes Us Great.”
“Don't you brag to me that you never read a book I never put my faith in a con man and his crook,” Springsteen sings in some of the song, according to Rolling Stone.
Springteen has been a critic of Trump and said as much in a 2016 interview with Rolling Stone.
“The ideas he's moving to the mainstream are all very dangerous ideas – white nationalism and the alt-right movement,” he said. “The outrageous things that he's done – not immediately disavowing David Duke? These are things that are obviously beyond the pale for any previous political candidate. It would sink your candidacy immediately.”
