Brown student critically injured in fall from dormitory window

PROVIDENCE, RI (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) Brown University officials are looking into an incident that left one student critically injured on Sunday morning.

A university spokesperson tells FOX 25 that a student fell from a third floor window in Andrews Hall at about 4:30 a.m. on Sunday. The student was taken to Rhode Island Hospital via ambulance with multiple injuries.

The student remained in critical, but stable condition on Thursday. Their identity has not been released.

Brown has made support staff available for the student's family and friends.

The university's Department of Public Safety and Office of Student Life are reviewing the incident. They have not released any details about their probe.
