Bridgewater police charge 2 with 'Molly' possession in underage drinking bust


BRIDGEWATER, Mass. ( – Three Bridgewater State University freshmen, a Westfield State freshman, and a juvenile are scheduled to be arraigned on underage drinking charges. Two of the people arrested are also charged with possession of the club drug "Molly."

A Bridgewater State campus police officer on foot patrol became suspicious after a car containing five female teens pulled into the Great Hill Drive parking lot Saturday night, and then remained there for quite some time. Officers searched the car and found alcohol (Jagermesiter) and two small plastic bags containing what appeared to be "Molly."

Police arrested five teens, all of whom will be charged with underage drinking. A Bridgewater State University freshman and a 16-year-old, who took responsibility for the drug, will additionally be charged with possession of a Class B substance.

Paige Nitardy, 18, of Vineyard Haven, a freshman at Bridgewater State University; Nicole Anderson, 18, of Norton, also a freshman at BSU; and Lindsey Pouliot, 18, of Granby, a freshman at Westfield State, are charged with underage possession of alcohol.

Alisha Conti, 18, of Holyoke, a BSU freshman, also faces charges of underage possession of alcohol, in addition to possession of a Class B drug (molly). A 16-year-old girl was also arrested on the same charges as Conti, but her name is being withheld because she is a minor.

Police hope the arrests, which are the first of its kind on campus, are not indicative of a larger trend.
