Updated:BRIDGEWATER, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- Bridgewater police accuse a 36-year-old man of attempting to burn down a bar after he was kicked out.
Russell Tatro, of Bridgewater, was charged with arson of a dwelling house after the incident at Our Place Saturday.
Investigators allege Tatro got into an argument with the bar's owner earlier in the night was was thrown out. While leaving, Tatro reportedly threatened the owner and the property. Shortly after the incident, an employee reported smelling gasoline and saw a small fire in the back of the building.
Bridgewater fire crews responded to the scene and put out the blaze, which caused minor damage to the building.
Tatro was arrested shortly after the fire was put out. Bail was set at $15,000.
