Brewster church fire ruled arson

BREWSTER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) – A fire that destroyed a Cape Cod church Friday morning has been ruled arson, according to the State Fire Marshal.

Flames tore through the roof of the Cape Cod Bible Alliance Church along Route 6A. Officials said there was no indication the fire was connected to a recent series of unsolved arson fires in Southeastern Massachusetts.
    
Volunteers and firefighters were on scene trying to fight the smoke and flames.
    
In a post on the church's Facebook page, leaders say they are greatly saddened and will begin looking for a place to meet long-term until they are able to rebuild.
