Hazmat team responds to situation in Sutton

SUTTON, Mass. (MyFoxBoston.com) -- A first responder and victim were taken to the hospital after an apparent hazmat situation in Sutton Friday.

A Tier 1 hazmat team has responded to a building on McGuire Road, according to the Massachusetts Fire Marshal's Office, adding that it was a medical situation. The fire chief on scene said there were high levels of CO.

One victim and one first responder were transported to a local hospital.

The road was closed temporarily and caused traffic issued for neighbors. No other information was immediately released.
