Brady's homecoming driving up ticket prices against Bengals

FOXBOROUGH, Mass. — It's homecoming weekend for Tom Brady and all of New England, it seems, wants to be there for it.

A ticket broker tells FOX25 News this weekend's matchup between the Bengals and the Patriots in Foxborough is the most demanded regular season ticket he can remember.

"I can't think of another regular season game, maybe outside a super bowl win or raising a banner, something like that," Ryan Kelley with Ace Ticket told FOX25.

It's all thanks to #BradysRevengeTour2016 as the decorated quarterback returns to Gillette Stadium for his first regular-season game since Jan. 16.

"This will be a fun game, it's always pretty fun to be out there. We have a great crowd and hopefully we give them lots of reasons to cheer," Brady said this week.

It has been 10 months since Patriots fans saw Brady take snaps at Gillette Stadium in the Divisional Playoff win over Kansas City in Jan.

"We've always had such great support here and it's just a great place to play. So hopefully we can make enough plays to keep them loud all game," Brady said.

But is it enough reason to pay? Kelley told FOX25 that Patriots tickets usually go for around $150. This weekend, it'll be $250 to just get into the stadium for the nosebleeds.  Tickets on StubHub.com range from $249 (the lowest) to almost $2,000 (the highest).

Fans are also buying up Brady jersey to rep the team this weekend.

"I'm shaking. I'm very excited. You could feel the vibe here. It's amazing," Nancy Hennessey told FOX25.

Brady's record is 97-16 in his career at home, so needless to say, he's given fans plenty of reasons to cheer.
