BPS bus driver investigated for texting while driving kids

BOSTON (MyFoxBoston.com) – A Boston public school bus driver is under investigation for texting and driving.

According to the Boston Herald, a college student was in the lab at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy when he saw the driver texting while stopped at a traffic light on Longwood Avenue. The student tweeted to the school district what he saw. The school system saw the tweet, and replied back.
    
According to the newspaper, the driver is currently off his route while the investigation is underway.
    
The bus in question starts in the Back Bay, travels through Fenway, and drops kids off at the Tobin Elementary School in Roxbury.
    
The driver's name has not been released.
